A private cloud is less secure, but it does offer a little more protection as it cannot be accessed by just anyone.

The least secure option is online. While sites use encryption to protect your information, hackers are also getting better. If they hack into your cloud account, they can steal everything, including your customer's private information, such as names and addresses.

Determining the exact cost of CRM software is difficult, but you can expect to pay the most if you have an on-premise system. This is because you'll need to pay for the software and other equipment, such as servers if you have a lot of information to store. However, on-premise software is easier to budget, which is good for smaller and newer businesses.

With an online system, you don't need to by all that equipment, which allows you to save money. Depending on the CRM vendor you are using and the different packages they offer, you may pay $25 to $300 a month or more. However, it is often difficult to budget how much you'll spend, especially when you are just starting because you may need to switch programs or add more features, which changes the price.
